05.–06.05.25 MyDiv field work Bad Lauchstädt
The next phase of the MyDiv project was kicked off in Bad Lauchstädt near Halle together with the research departments from Jena and Leipzig in May 2025. This research investigates the relationship between the tree species abundance, type of mycorrhization, and ecosystem functions on the long-term field experiment. Soil samples were retrieved, processed, and inserted back into the individual plots in containers on a sunny day, amongst other tasks. The aim is to determine microbial decomposition within the next twelve months.
