Study Information Day
The study of Agricultural Sciences is characterized by its diversity: It is a combination of natural science, economics, technology, and ecology. The subject deals with key topics that will determine our future, such as sustainability, biodiversity, climate protection, and resource management. Special topics include digitalization in agriculture, innovative cultivation techniques, animal welfare, and food security.
The Institute of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences is holding an information event on Agricultural Sciences on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 1pm. At the event, high school students will learn all about studying Agricultural Sciences in Halle with lectures and presentations. They will also gain an insight into the Institute's current research, exhibits will be on display and posters will be presented. Students and lecturers will be available for informal discussions and will be on hand to answer any questions.
Following the Study Information Day, the Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences student council invites you to the Hoffest from 5pm.
