The Organic On-Farm Research Station Görzig and the Hof Pfaffendorf farm network are cooperation partners in the DiP research network. This network, entitled "Model region of the bioeconomy for the digitization of plant value chains in the Central German coalfield in Saxony-Anhalt" - DiP for short - is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and will run from 2024-2028. A total of 20 joint projects are involved. The overarching goal of the DiP research network is to create a model region for a digitalized, climate-neutral and competitive agriculture & bioeconomy in the coal successor region in southern Saxony-Anhalt, which is characterized by scientific excellence, innovative industries and attractive jobs.

In addition to the institute's own internal trials, field campaigns are also carried out on the areas of the Organic On-Farm Research Station Görzig as part of the BonaRes I4S project (Inteligence for Soil) "Integrated system for site-specific management of soil fertility".

Utilization of services

Special field work, such as close-meshed soil sampling, soil zone inventories with EM38 or area-wide, in situ plant detection to determine the current nitrogen status in the crop, is carried out by outsourcing to third parties. Agricon GmbH is a long-standing partner company of the Hof Pfaffendorf farm network, which has the corresponding rights to drive over the land.
